Back in March, 2020, Gunnedah-born photo-journalist Peter Lorimer, aka Loz, was getting bored in lockdown in his 4th-floor apartment in Newcastle. He issued a campoven challenge to his son, Jack, back in the home town with efforts to be posted on Facebook. The concept took off, The Great Coronavirus Camp Oven Cook-Off was born and there are now over 12,000 followers. He rang me to write a poem and this led to the book, incredibly laid out by Mick Bannenberg and published by Wilkinson Publishing.
